Compared with other monster mysteries she is unique, leaving graves, witnessed parish records, and archives of official documents, many of them included in this book, proving her real and guilty beyond doubt. ABB¿ PIERRE POURCHER Pierre Pourcher was born on the 8th December 1831 in the village of Mazet, parish of Julianges. His parents were BarthJlemy Pourcher and Jeanne -Marie, maiden name Roussel. Her was christened on the 10th December 1831, the godfather being Jean-Pierre Pourcher, his grandfather. He entered the Grand Seminary when he was 28 years old, being ordained priest in 1865. He became Curate of St. Martin de Boubaux in 1873 and held this office until 1900.Pourcher wrote several historical books of which La B¿te du G¿vaudan is the most well known. In it he makes several references to direct family experiences with La B¿te."The child from ServiPres, taken by La B¿te on Saturday 27th July, was Pierre Roussel, paternal uncle of my mother Jeanne-Marie-Roussel, widow of BarthJlemy Pourcher, my father. The Roussel family, from Fajolle at GrPzes, near Sauges, inherited the domain of Guillaume de ServiPres, today the Portal house, where almost all the six uncles and two aunts were born."Pope LJon XIII personally encouraged Pourcher's writing, approving of his good works and the various restorations he was able to achieve in his parish. Papal appreciation is particularly recorded in a letter of 30th July, 1887 written to him on the instruction of the Pontiff by Cardinal Rampolla.Pourcher died on 3rd March 1915 in the Chaldecoste district of Mende. The modest house in which he was born can still be seen. It has an enigmatic carving, said by some to be La B¿te, over its front door.A thoughtful priest who left to his church and the world a book from which much can be learned. About the Author
Lucy F. Ackert is Professor of Finance in the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University and Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Dr. Ackert holds a Ph.D. in financial economics from Emory University. Her research interests include individual's use of information and financial market reaction to information. Dr. Ackert has published numerous articles in refereed journals including the American Economic Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of Finance. In 1993 Dr. Ackert received a Smith Breeden Prize for Distinguished Paper in the Journal of Finance. Her research has received funding from various organizations including the Center for the Study of Futures Markets at Columbia University, the Chicago Board of Trade, the Canadian Investment Review, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. In 2008 Dr. Ackert received the Kennesaw State University Distinguished Graduate Scholarship Award. Dr. Ackert has previously taught at Emory University, Berry College, and Wilfrid Laurier University. She has taught a range of courses for graduate as well as undergraduate students, including Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance, Futures and Options Markets, Financial Institutions, Cases in Finance, Introduction to Statistical Methods, and Microeconomics.

Richard Deaves is Professor of Finance at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. There and elsewhere he has taught a variety of courses, including Behavioral Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Derivatives, and Applied Investment Management. In addition to McMaster, Dr. Deaves has visited at the University of Toronto, Concordia University, Thammasat University, Tsinghua University, and others. Dr. Deaves research publications have appeared in numerous journals, such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Monetary Economics. His main research interests have included behavioral finance, investor knowledge and pension fund design, experimental asset markets, investment fund performance, fixed-income return enhancement, modeling and predicting interest rates, pricing and hedging futures, and the relationship between financial markets and the macroeconomy. Additionally, Dr. Deaves has consulted for large and small private firms as well as government agencies. He has also provided expert testimony in a number of legal proceedings. He has previously published two books: What Kind of an Investor Are You? (Insomniac Press) and Canadian Finance: A Concise Introduction (DFS Press).

The audio of this is amazing, it's a collection of a few of the poems in this book but it makes me read the paper versions in her soft, soothing voice. It's honest poetry, it seems as if she's more concerned about getting the feelings of raw emotion out rather than making a rhyme. She has an original style, and I cannot wait for the second book. She puts into words what my heart cannot explain, and I thank her for that.

i was really excited when i first stumbled across this book but in all honesty, i ended feeling a bit underwhelmed by it. this really was just a very hit or miss book for me; there were some poems i absolutely loved, while there were others that i just couldn't really connect with, whether it be because of the content or the overall format. but that is not to say that reyna biddy is a bad writer, or that i didn't love the themes within the poems, and the message that the author was trying to convey. it was raw. it was unapologetic. it was messy. it was heartbreaking. but ultimately, it was very real & empowering. reyna certainly did not hold back, & i admire her for that. i also loved that this collection focused on love, and how complex it can be in all its different forms.this really was a very emotional and expressive book, written by a very passionate and strong woman, but unfortunately it just really wasn't my cup of tea. however, i do think that reyna really is a talented writer & i would certainly be open to reading more of her work in the future!

I truly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with self love and how to love them self and all the hurt and heartbreaks and destroyed you. This books helps you to recover from agony. This book was truly so eye opening for me and help me recover and love myself and to fall in love with myself always to leave toxic relationships because your love and happiness is more important then the hurt and fact love a partner can cause you. She’s one of my favorite author and truly someone I look up to. I’m really not a religious person but she brought me more to god then i ever felt before. She made my soul to rest. This book shoe be an award winning book !!!!!!! Truly recomend and worth spending your money on !!!

I'm not the biggest fan of poetry, and I was skeptical about a book of spoken word poetry, but I loved this book! I devoured it in one night and read it two more times over the course of a week. Reyna is such a talented writer, she masterfully expresses the thoughts and feelings I've been unable to put words to. Its hard to tell someone to love themselves without it coming off as cheesey or a too large a concept to handle. How does one write a book advising someone to love themselves without it coming off as a, I'm superior to you because I've already figured this out and don't you wish you could be like me vibe. Every female should read this book. I'm going to buy it for my cousin who's 16 I think she'll enjoy it.

i read the preview for this book before buying it, the poem she wrote about her mother in the beginning of the book made me cry and that’s why i ordered it. i thought it was going to be more poetry like that, about family and exploring those feelings but it’s mostly about the men that broke her heart and how she’s feeling afterwards with bits of family sprinkled in. a little disappointing but she’s not a bad writer, i’m still glad i bought it

Reyna has a true gift , the way she writes makes me feel as though she is speaking to my soul. All of us have been in love and understand the pain associated with rejection , one-sided relationships, and infidelity. She shines light on feelings we try to suppress and provides us with a solution, well her solution to healing her heart and mind. Even in her imperfections she takes us on a journey of her growth and that's what makes this book perfect. The poems are very relatable and she does an amazing job articulating her words to make clear points. I highly recommend this book to all readers

I knew I'd fall in love with this book when I first read the description, which is exactly what happened. (Maybe because I knew I'd be able to relate to a lot of her material) but even if you can't relate to it personally, she did a phenomenal job delivering her story and definitely worth the read. I'm now a huge fan and I look forward to purchasing and reading more! Love love love!!!!

This book is honestly my holy grail for the first time I honestly saw some of my feelings on paper and which has allowed me to now start addressing them. 10/10 would recommend.If something led you to this page and to read this review please purchase it you won’t regret how fulfilling it is...
